Tanalised Fencing Stakes & Struts

Description

We stock a large variety of tanalised fencing stakes and struts ranging from 1.35m x 50mm – 75mm tops, up to 2.7m x 75 – 100mm tops along with strainers and timber gate posts to suit all your fencing requirements.

Material

Tanalised wood is the most common material used for fencing stakes due to its affordability, versatility, and availability. Many of our stakes are treated to UC4 standards for in-ground contact.

Installation

Fencing stakes are typically installed by driving them into the ground with a sledgehammer or post driver. The stakes should be spaced evenly along the fence line, with a maximum distance of 8 feet between each stake. The depth at which the stake is driven into the ground will depend on the soil type you have and the overall required height of your fence.

Maintenance

Whilst our tanalised fencing stakes are all pretreated to extend their lifespan, regular maintenance is important to ensure the longevity of the fence. Wood stakes can be re-treated with a wood preservative or sealant to protect against damn penetration and insect damage.
