Our Dorset Gates are made to order. For up-to-date lead times, please call or contact us and we will be happy to help.
Our Dorset Gate is either made from Iroko hardwood or Oak. These gates are hand made to order in our Dorset workshop by our own highly skilled carpentry team.
These gates are usually hung on sturdy, square timber gate posts. However they can also be attached to stone or brickwork.
Gate fittings including hinge sets and gate catches will be additionally required to complete the installation.
The Dorset Gate is a traditional gate from our home county. It comprises an even mix of metal and wood. These materials complement each other very well. The Dorset gate has galvanised rods running horizontally but we can also put the rods vertically if requested. The metal work provides a strong but aesthetically pleasing finish. The rods allows light to pass through whilst at the same time providing a barrier to safely contain pets and children.
