These high quality gates make a stylish entrance to a driveway and are available in either Iroko hardwood or Scandinavian Redwood making them suitable for a paint finish. Made in our workshop, the border range can be made to fit most size entrances with a choice of the popular curved, flat top or optional plain or barley twist vertical bars.

This Border Door Curved Top Pair is made from Ex.2 1/2” framework and have a finished hanging and slamming stile of 100mm x 100mm.
The height of the Border Door Curved Top is measured at the lowest part of the top rail.
Scandinavian Redwood – Softwood gates are made of a Scandinavian redwood. This timber must be treated with a Ronseal preserver regularly or painted to avoid decay.
Iroko – All hardwood border doors are made of Iroko which is a light yellow to golden brown colour, which if left untreated will weather to a silver/grey. To treat Iroko we recommend to use a Ronseal Hardwood Furniture Oil on a regular basis.

We recommend treating Iroko hardwood with a ‘Ronseal Hardwood Garden Furniture Oil’ to increase the depth of colour and product against UV fading.
Iroko is an extremely durable hardwood, making it an excellent choice for external gates and garden furniture.
Scandinavian Redwood is a softwood from Scandinavia used for sheds and gates, where a good clean finish is required.
To treat Scandinavian Redwood we recommend Ronseal Shed and Fence Preserver
