Creosote protects timber by deterring insects and harmful funghi and preserves the wood – so you have peace of mind that your creosoted stakes and strainers will have a long lifespan. Creosoted timber is more commonly used in agricultural projects.
Our tanalised timber has been treated using Tanalith E, which, like creosote, protects wood from rots and insects to preserve your stakes and strainers. A main benefit of tanalised timber is that you are able to maintain the look of your timber. It is more commonly used in garden projects.
