With each type of pole and rail you can select how you’d like your timber to be preserved – creosoted or tanalised. Creosote is most popularly used in agricultural projects. Creosote oil is highly effective in deterring insects and harmful funghi. Tanalised timber is impregnated with Tanalith E – a chemical which treats your timber whilst retaining its original colour. It is more commonly used in garden projects.
